Artist Books by Macey Ley at ArtsThrive Exhibition & Auction

Coupled and Inseparable - detail

ALBUQUERQUE, NM: Macey Ley will exhibit and auction two of her most popular artist books at ArtsThrive, beginning October 24, 2020. Featured works include Coupled and Inseparable and The Sky Is Surely Open.

Macey has strong ties to the Southwest. She attended middle and high school in Albuquerque and earned her undergraduate degree in photography from the University of New Mexico. Much of her family still resides in the Southwest, and she still considers it one of the most magical places she’s ever lived. She is particularly excited about participating in an event that supports contemporary art in her hometown.

ArtsThrive is an exhibition and auction to benefit the Albuquerque Museum’s educational and exhibition programming and features the artwork of 100 artists from around the country. In its 30th season, ArtsThrive has expanded the auction to an online platform.

The online auction opens at 9:30 p.m. EDT, October 24, 2020 and closes at 5:00 p.m. EDT, November 8, 2020. However, artwork will be on display at the Albuquerque Museum through December 6, 2020 for in-person viewing and purchase. The gallery is located at 2000 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.
